This week’s podcast may seem a bit off topic from my usual interviews, but on the other hand not really. I always like to interview people who are using their voice to make a difference and today’s podcast guest is no exception.

As someone who has travelled a lot and lived in many countires, I do believe immersing yourself in the language of the country you are living in is helpful to establish deeper relationships and have a better understanding of a culture.

When living in Germany, I learned German. When living in Belgium, I learned Flemish. However, since living in Dubai, I’m ashamed to say, I have not managed to learn Arabic, bu not from a lack of trying.
